Hello everyone,
My name is Danny L. Osborne. My call is W4DLO and I am the President of the FARC. I enjoy ham radio, woodworking and flying RC airplanes. I usually hang out on 75 meters 3.875 or 3.751(cw).

Well, after all the work getting this website up, I think I am rested enough to make a post... :cheer:

I am Brian, AB1JU. Currently the webmaster of the FARC website, but if someone else would like to do that...

I have a Echolink simplex link in Hays, (under Michele's callsign, KB1UNY) on 146.54 with CTCSS of 100.0 - if you can hit it, feel free to use it to DTMF up any of the other echolink stations that you'd like. It is normally connected to my Echolink conference server, AB1JU-L which is the home of the USA Grits N' Gravy Gang .

I am usually found on either the club repeater or my simplex link. (You can check APRS for AB1JU-12 to see what frequency my radio is on if I am mobile.)

I haven't gotten much into HF yet, but I'll get there...

Aside from Amateur Radio, I like Geocaching which is a GPS scavenger hunt. I have over 500 finds in 20 states at this time. I am also a computer guy and yes, I answer questions... so if you have one...

Hopefully everyone is enjoying the website.
73 for now...
Brian / AB1JU
